Allentown Athletix offers a comprehensive array of facilities, services and activities.
Cardio Room
Recently renovated tiered room with 50" plasma TVs. Includes full-body elliptical cross trainers, amazing treadmills, 3 types of bikes and more. The best member-to-cardio equipment ratio in Western New York, allowing unprecedented access - even after work!
Circuit Room
A full range of Life Fitness strength equipment, rated the best in the industry. Never a wait for equipment!
Free Weight Room
Full range of Hammer Strength, Life Fitness and Parabody equipment. More than 5,000 pounds of weights, and dumb bells up to 90 pounds. Never a wait for equipment and no intimidation. For male and female users of all strength levels.
Racquetball and Squash Courts
Two racquetball courts and two squash courts. Unlimited court time included with membership. No additional court fees. Just walk on or call in a reservation if you wish. Racquets can be rented for $2, balls sold at market pricing. Free racquetball and squash clinics offered for beginners and experienced players throughout the year with our in-house pro. Allentown Athletix is a participating member with the Western New York Racquetball Association and the Buffalo Squash Racquets Association.
Group Exercise Classes
Pilates, Yoga, Awesome Abs, Belly Dancing, Ju Jitsu and the Queen City Roller Girls Experience (a 2-hour body sculpting class) are all included with membership. Maximum class size is 15 so you'll get lots of instructor attention and great results. For Ju Jitsu, why pay $2,000 a year at a Dojo when you can purchase a membership for a fraction of that and get the same instruction. Also offered for a minimal fee are Tai Chi and Boot Camp.
Locker Rooms
Consistently rated the health club with the cleanest locker rooms, showers and restrooms in Western New York. Never a speck of mold or mildew on our shower curtains. In more than nine years in business, no one has ever contracted athlete's foot. Okay, we wouldn't eat the pizza slice that fell on the floor, but we might think about doing that! There is an ample supply of free daily lockers where members can lock up their belongings and take them with them when they go. There are also full and half size lockers that may be rented for those who want the convenience of keeping things at the club 24/7.
Saunas and Jacuzzi
There are separate saunas for men and women. The previous owners also installed a Jacuzzi in the men's locker room. Sorry gals... if we had done the installation it would have been in a coed location.
