Allentown Athletix does not currently have any open positions.  However, we always appreciate receiving resumes and cover letters for possible future needs.  The positions would be part-time Sales Associate or cleaning staff. 

SALES ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities:  Cultivate new memberships through phone inquiries, walk-ins and referrals.  Provide facility tours to prospective members.  Complete new member and renewal contracts.  Assist new and existing members with payment options.  Make phone calls to delinquent accounts to secure payment.  Ad hoc special projects and reports.  Light cleaning of men's locker room during club hours and the club in general, and minimal equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:  Previous work experience in a health club or gym is highly desirable.  Familiarity with a health club environment as a user at a minimum.  Associates or Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Attention to detail required; no tolerance for errors.  Ability to work evenings , weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.  Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL.

Other:  Non-smoking environment;  smokers will not be hired.

Candidates must agree to criminal background, credit, reference and prior employment checks as well as pre-employment and random ongoing drug and alcohol testing without notice.  Prior employment pay stubs or other proof of earnings required.

Starting Compensation:  $10 per hour for part-time or $25,000 for full-time.
